Royal Alexandra Theatre, one of the oldest and most famous legitimate theatres in North America. For the next 24 years, Ed Mirvish operated the Royal Alexandra - as it had been operated for most of its history - primarily as a 'road house', staging short-run touring productions from London and New York and renting the space to local theatre groups, the Canadian Opera Co. and the National Ballet.
Cahoots Theatre Company is dedicated to the creation, development and production of new works that investigate the complexities of Canada's cultural diversity, and examine the intersections of these cultures. Diversity is more than race, nation of origin and ethnicity. It also encompasses gender, sexuality, ability, language and class. Our work questions, challenges and transforms our notions of contemporary Canadian life, and explores our evolving connection to the world around us. It encourages us to consider and honour our history, while stepping boldly into the future.
The Musical Stage Company is the largest and leading charitable musical theatre company in Canada, driving the evolution of musical theatre since 2004.
