More information CEF CanadaOur PurposeChild Evangelism Fellowship is an evangelical, Bible-centred mission whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. Our concern in seeking to evangelize children is that, 'not one of these little ones should perish.'Our MissionTo enlist, equip and encourage a team of qualified leaders who will effectively fulfill the purpose of Child Evangelism Fellowship, expanding the work throughout Canad,a working in close cooperation the Bible-centred churches and other mission organizations which are in agreement with our Statement of Faith and teaching program.CEF Canada is committed to training and discipleship ministries whenever evangelism takes place.In cities, towns and rural communities, volunteers working through CEF ministries are ministering to thousands of Canada's children, otherwise unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ.CEF Canada volunteers serve under the leadership of trained CEF staff and local committees who provide leadership, training and materials.
Who We AreOur mission: To bring hope and a future through Christ to youth and their families in the inner city.Inner City Youth Alive (ICYA) is located in the North End of Winnipeg, which is one of the poorest and underserved area in Winnipeg and Canada. ICYA provides a safe, active and nurturing environment for children and youth many of whom experience poverty, abuse and neglect.ICYA engages local kids by offering quality programs through which relationships grow. These supportive relationships play a vital role in the lives of hundreds who are at risk, providing hope, inspiration, mentorship and a strong sense of the Heavenly Father's desire to be in relationship with us. These essential programs empower children and youth to grow and develop into confident individuals who are better equipped to deal with the harsh realities that they face daily._____Our HistoryInner City Youth Alive was founded in 1986 with the vision of Mark Friesen and Kent Dueck. Their vision was to make a difference in the lives of our inner city youth by sharing the love of Christ with them.

We believe that children are our gifts and as a community, it is our responsibility to guarantee their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs.
