The new space is lovely- refined but traditional. Tasteful, the art, lighting, linens. Food and wine has always been consistently wonderful. This resturant is my favourite when I am in the mode for itilain food. The venue is small and cozy. Family own and operated. The best part is the food! My only issue is that I always seem to gain a few pounds after visiting.

I have eaten in most restaurants downtown, and one day decided to try Abruzzo.
First impression was that is it a little too old style - decor was quite old fashioned. But over all nice and quiet. The food though makes up for short coming in the decor department.
I can't say that they were as good as home made italian food, but came pretty darn close. Overall I would highly recommend this place.
