I have been here several times, close to the entertainment district and serves good food. It isn't busy, busy which is nice actually so you can have a nice conversation with your table mates. The service is always good.

Goldies pizza is different then your usual pizza place. It is distinguished by the pizza itself. When you buy a slice (or a whole pizza) you don't end up with a huge bready crust, Goldies is served rustic style... on thin crust. It's seriously the best pizza I have tasted in town. I prefer the mushroom pizza the most. YOu can see all the slices Goldies offers through their display window right off of Pender street, or you can go inside, sit at the bar, and order a beer while you they heat up your slice! I really liked the atmosphere. The owner, Michael, is a classy guy. He treats everyone with respect who walks in the door. They are also becoming more tech savy, and are adding their listings to Foursquare, and twitter. I checked into foursquare at goldies pizza, and got a dollar off their draft beer. Its a nice place! He later moved to London England and started apprenticing in big hotels like the Empress Hotel and Hyde Park Hotel untill he moved to Vancouver and started to work in fine dinning restaurants to mention a few, Da Vito Restaurant in Gastown, La Casa di Emberto and Cafe de Paris from the late seventies till the early eighties when he opened Carmelo's in West Vancouver and remained there untill 1994 when he sold the restaurant to open Bravo Cucina.
