Welcome to Little LambsAbout Us / MissionLittle Lambs Christian Preschool began as a nursery program in the fall of 1988, to 'Know God and Make Him Known'. We began with a small group of less than ten children and have grown to an average of 65 children each year. We became a fully licensed daycare (able to offer full day care) in 2002. While we do not have more than 32 children on site at one time, our community includes so many families as we offer both full and part time. Our families may pick and choose any half/full day combination that they would like depending on what is available. We do follow the public school calendar from September to the end of June and are, therefore, closed for two weeks at Christmas and for Spring Break. We are closed for stat days but are open for public school inservice days. We do run a shorter day than many day cares, with half day children being dropped off or picked up at 12:15.We are a theme based centre with weekly themes. Our large, spacious room is well equipped, with many choices during free play.
Fort Garry Mennonite Fellowship emerged in 1966 as an initiative of the Winnipeg Bergthaler Mennonite Church (now known as Home Street Mennonite Church) and formally organized in 1967. Founding members came from a variety of congregations. The Fellowship met in rented facilities at Canadian Nazarene College until 1981 and then at Canadian Mennonite Bible College. In December 1984, FGMF moved into its newly constructed meeting place at 150 Bayridge Avenue. The initial group of 30 members has grown to approximately 200. Together we seek to encourage each other in faithful living of the Christian faith.

On February 18, 1990 we had our first meeting as a body of believers in the Joseph Teres School with 15 in attendance. After a major telephone blitz, the official opening service was held at the school with 140 attending. The church continued to meet weekly at the school until January 1994, when we moved to our present location.
