Community of Maple Child Care Services is a not for profit charitable organization, governed by a volunteer parent/community based Board of Directors. We first opened our doors on January 8, 1990 to meet the child care needs of the children and families in Vaughan. We have grown to six locations, providing licensed child care to over 500 families. We are proud of the high quality early learning programs we offer to all of our children from infancy to School Age.

Our mission is to create and sustain an optimum Montessori environment where children are encouraged to formulate their own minds and to be critical thinkers. Through our philosophies, principles and goals, we would like to instill a joy of life long learning. It is our aim to make each child realize their full potential for learning; and to become an independent self-motivated and contributing member of the world community.

We believe that quality child care facilitates the healthy growth and development of the 'total child'. Quality child care centers invite each child to explore his/her environments in conditions that challenge the curiosity and heighten the child's competence in him/herself. We believe each child is unique and thus has the right to experience activities that will ensure that his/her full potential is challenged and developed. We believe in the integration of special needs children in our program, (within our limitations), providing care for the child and support for the parents in conjunction with community resources. We believe that through play, the child is best to explore his/her world, to learn and to grow. To this end, the staff provides a program that allows for each child to play in situations that will facilitate the healthy physical, emotional, cognitive and communication skills growth.

Child's View Day Care Centre is a close-knit family atmosphere with a team of more than 20 staff members led by Sunnie (Sang) Cai, RECE. Sunnie graduated from George Brown College with honours. After achieving her diploma, she is continue studying at Ryerson University now. Sunnie has been with Child's View since 2007 where she began as an Early Childhood Educator in infant room. She also worked in toddler room and senior preschool room in the past years. She taught in the classrooms at Child's View as an Early Childhood Educator and introduced a literacy and numeracy-focused program to the centre. She continues to maintain a safe and fun environment for children while still introducing diverse strategies to reach out to all students by appealing to their varied levels of intelligence, learning styles and needs. This is especially exemplified through Sunnie's experience in working with exceptional children that require assistive technologies. This unique experience has helped to provide Child's View Day Care with a certified professional that is capable of working with all types of Children and truly lead the staff in adapting programs to ensure a positive learning environment for each and every child
