The provincial government has placed Parent Participation Preschools under the jurisdiction of the Community Care Facilities Licensing Act. In order to be a member of the Council of Parent Participation Preschools and to protect the quality of care children receive in all such preschools, it is required by childcare licensing that all persons who participate (assist) in any daycare or preschool center must have adequate knowledge of children.

Butterfly Progressive Montessori Preschool follows a progressive approach to the Montessori method. We offer a half day preschool program, which promotes the acquisition of new skills through exploration and manipulation of classroom materials as per the traditional Montessori methods. However, we believe in cultivating the whole child and we know the importance of allowing creativity to promote growth.
