In 2005, he founded ARTEX Environmental Corporation to offer E-waste recycling solutions in a large-scale processing facility in Toronto. In 2008, ARTEX received its certificate of approval from the Ontario Ministry of the Environment (See Credentials). In 2009, ARTEX became one of the first companies to be approved as a Primary Processor by Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES), the province's program for the responsible recycling of E-waste. As a certified Primary Processor, ARTEX can process any OES eligible material for any private or public organization and participate in the subsidies provided by OES to cover the majority of the recycling costs.
