Four us before a show at the Royal Alexandria - so definitely convenient - especially with the free parking in the metro centre available.
Service was good and prompt. Food was tasty. However, portion size could have been bigger, especially for the price! I had chicken souvlaki with all greek salad on the side (asked for no potatoes, not rice, no carbs for me) and it was $19. One skewer of chicken with 5 pieces of meat on it. My husband had the pork souvlaki, $20, and had to pay another $5 for a tiny greek salad on the side. $14 for saganaki. Again, good, but would have been great if portions were a little bigger and or prices were a little cheaper.

THEN CAME HIGH SCHOOL, WE USED TO WAIT FOR THE STREETCAR INSIDE GEORGES OUT OF THE COLD AND ALWAYS HAD A CHAT WITH GEORGE AND TINA, BEFORE SCHOOL. WE ALWAYS WENT THERE ON THE WEEKENDS. WHEN I WAS 29 A FRIEND AND I WENT THERE DAILY FOR COFFEE AND A CHAT .WHEN I WAS IN MY 30 S I WENT THERE WITH MY UNCLE FOR BREAKFAST. THEY COOK BREAKFAST JUST AS YOU ASK IT BE COOKED .THEIR SERVICE IS EXCELLENT.NOW A DAYS GEORGES SON GEORGE RUNS GEORGE THE GREEK, A FAMILY TRADITION. BUT YOUNG GEORGE COOKS JUST LIKE HIS DAD(GEORGE).EVEN MY HUSBAND ATE THERE BEFORE I MET HIM AND HE ALWAYS REMBERED GEORGE AND TINA, WHAT GOOD MEALS THEY MADE. Tucked in the basement of the St. Lawrence Market, Yanni's has become a new family tradition. The Greek breakfast has a lovely omellette, nicely garnished with an orange slice. Golden brown toast and hash browns make it heavy on the carbs, but hey, it's Saturday. The Greek baked potato is filled with feta cheese and tzatziki, a wonderful alternative to French fries. The lamb shank dinner is my daughter's favourite breakfast. Served up with rice and a fresh Greek salad, it is a strange but healthy breakfast. The service is fast and friendly. Be warned that on Saturdays you will be looking for a seat to eat at, so go early! Or go during the week when things are really relaxed...

Based on other online reviews, the Pantheon is arguably the best Greek restaurant in Greek Town, Toronto.
We made reservations ahead of time, had the much reviewed and loved Saganaki, which they light up at your table and the chicken souvlaki; the large and small portions. The chicken was ridiculously good, the potatoes were incredible and the rice was fantastic.
With two greek beers and a red wine, our bill totaled $65.
It was a good experience, we will return again.
