Epiphany spa was recommended by a friend. The spa is charming, the lounge is comfortable and the atmosphere is upscale but unpretentious. I was offered fresh coffee or a variety of teas to choose from. I enjoyed a small Italian cracker and a glass of water. The glass of water was probably filtered or bottled because it tasted great and came with a thin slice of lemon, nice touch. While I was in the lounge, I heard another client having a pedicure talk about her negative experience elsewhere and why she now exclusively uses Epiphany spa for her pedicures and waxing. The aesthetician was gracious with her response and didn't talk negatively about the other spa even when an opening was given by the client.
I learned things about my skin that I wasn't aware of during the interview before my microdermabrasion, which is primarily why I am writing this review. I've gone to other "exclusive" spas in Oakville that are more expensive than this spa and I must say, this place is a rare find. The attention to detail during my facial was surprising. My skin has never been so clear and it's been over 8 weeks.
The staff never tried to up sell me and never pressured me to buy anything. They are a class act and I absolutely loved the whole experience. My next visit to Epiphany is on Saturday and I'm having a pedicure.
Epiphany spa is one of those places that you find and wonder why didn't I try this place earlier? I am redefining what a spa should be because of Epiphany spa. They offer manicures, Shellac, pedicures, waxing, a variety of facials including a teen facial, organic facial and AHA treatment, they also have registered massage therapists, a sauna and steam room and shower. It's a smaller spa but offers everything I want. Their prices are slightly higher than nails salons and lower than other spas in the areas, which makes them a fantastic deal because you definitely get more than you pay at Epiphany spa.
