Everytime I go to the Brick I get excellent service. I had to buy a mattress for myself. I am very pleased with the product. Because they didn't tell me about the mattress and bed pick up for 40$, they came today and picked it up for free. Also, they took my old oven for 20$ even though I bought the new one from Leon's and not them. Leon's charges 30$. If you go to the Brick ask for Wanda or Gary. I get very good service from them. Our party of 6 sat out on the patio for our supper on a beautiful sunny day at the end of May. The service was good and for the most part the food was ok except for two out of our party who ordered the hamburgers.
Its disappointing that they can't make the effort to make their own patties. Espcially considering our wait time. Its not like the food was served super fast. In fact, it took a while but we didn't mind as we weren't in a rush.
Anyways, the burger patties are the kind of processed "precooked" patties that you can buy in the frozen food section at a grocery store. Rubbery and very off putting. A disappointment!
I had the NY strip steak, not bad but I ordered rare and it wasn't rested when they served it. Not a big deal.
We also had the calamari, zuccini sticks and patotoe skins for appetizers. All passable but nothing to write home about.
I'd go back again for a drink and an appetizer but I probably wouldn't have a meal. I love the pub inside, very old school british pub feel. I think it would be cosy in the winter. The patio has a great view and is a nice place to go for a drink.Read more
