The Space is an extracurricular arts school and theatre company that services the Windsor-Essex area of Ontario.We provide a safe and encouraging venue to learn crafts in dramatic, performing and visual arts.Though our focus is on theatre and the benefits of drama, our mandate remains developing a life long passion for the arts across all disciplines.
This complex provides good facilities to exercise on land, in a gym or weight room and in the fine pools. There are classes at different levels to fit all needs. In the early 1960's, Dr. Elmer Butt, a noted Windsor radiologist and equestrian observed horses being used for therapy with physically challenged children in England. He brought the idea back to Windsor with him and in September 1971, Dr. Butt chaired a meeting to form what was to become the Windsor Association of Riding for the Handicapped (W.A.R.H). It became the first such association in Canada.
