Over time, new threats have placed our urban forest at risk. Welcome to Deer Lodge Community Club!It's been 75 years since we opened our doors to the community. Generations have come to play, meet and celebrate to make DLCC the heart of St. James recreation and community!DLCC is located near the corner of Linwood Street and Bruce Avenue in St James. The Centre has hosted various sports teams over the years, including Hockey, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball and Softball. We have also offered, through co-operation with the different community groups, Brownies, Sparks, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Yog,a Aerobics and Karate.Groups within the community club include the Parent-Child Centred Coalition and the Seniors Group. They are always accepting new members. There's also a church that meets on Sundays and most weekends wedding socials are happening. It's a busy club.We have 2 outdoor rinks and, for those days when you want a great view of the ice, you can watch a hockey game from our mezzanine level.For more information the groups and activities.
