THE DYE HOUSEThe Dye House was established in 1990 with a vision to provide the garment industry access to high quality garment dyeing services.Our goal was to offer an unlimited choice of colors and finishes in a timely and cost effective manner. By staying true to our dream, we have become the largest custom garment dyeing facility in Western Canada.We occupy a 14,000 sq. ft. plant located right smack in the middle of Canad,a close to the Winnipeg International Airport. See map below.We have a skilled and experienced work force, many of whom have been with us since conception. Owners are always on premises and involved in all aspects of the business from sales and production to quality control and product development. Our 'hands-on' approach allows us to react quickly to our customers' needs and to maintain a high quality product that we - and our customers - can be proud of.We currently operate a variety of dye machines ranging in size from 100# to 800# each. Our current weekly capacity is approximately 50,000#, but could be increased up to 100,000# a week at this location
In 1945 our founder, Robert Napier, started a shipping room equipment & supply business. In 1947, he purchased General Shipping Equipment Limited, a small Ontario distributor of Diagraph Bradley products for sale in Ontario and Quebec.In the early fifties, the Senco Products line was acquired along with other staple manufacturers' products. Senco was the first developer of a successful pneumatic stapler for use in the automotive industry. Senco products were offered mainly to the furniture and automotive industries at the that time along with packaging staples by Markwell and International Stapling Machine Company.
