I always go to Kel-Ann organics when I want soil in bulk. Their triple mix is phenomenal and only slightly more in cost than topsoil. I can only purchase 1 yard at a time due to having only a small trailer but the "yard" of soil is always more than generous. The staff are friendly and courteous and willing to provide expert advice.

Karen Casey is a life-long resident of Colchester North and currently lives in Valley, Colchester County, with her husband, Glen. They have two adult sons and four grandchildren.
Karen has been involved with the educational system throughout her life. A graduate of the Nova Scotia Teachers' College, she has also earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education from Mount Saint Vincent University, and a Masters in Education from Saint Mary's University.
Karen has a wide range of experience in the school system. She was a school teacher in the town of Truro, an administrator at North River Elementary School, a Regional Supervisor with the Colchester East Hants District School Board, an Assistant Superintendent with the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board, and an Adjunct Professor with the Department of Education, Acadia University and the University of Prince Edward Island.

Beside food, we love love growing flowers and the joy and smiles they bring.
For those that want to grow their own plants, we do offer seedlings as well.
Kel-Ann Organics is an industry leader in the manufacturing and processing of organic soils, bark mulch and firewood. All products have been developed and tested to ensure that they exceed industry standards. Soils are manufactured from the finest organic mixes including, clean natural leaf compost, aged manure, sphagnum peat moss. Our unique process of blending soils allows us to create superior products which are environmentally friendly. Kel-Ann soil is a 100% natural product and contains no chemical additives or artificial fertilizers. Kel-Ann also supplies seasoned, cut and split firewood. Kel-Ann customers will always receive a true cord which equals 128 cubic feet. Soils, mulch and firewood are available for delivery or pickup.
