If you have never been to the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (my friends call it short: Cooking School), well you have to try it. The restaurant is located just at the entrance to Granville Island.
I went there recently and ordered the following:

This meal was a culinary delight. Pricing is very reasonable in comparison to the big names here in town.

The Pacific Indoor Bowls Club officially began in 1938. The original depression-era facility, located on the corner of 19th Ave and Main St, was constructed for under $15,000 thanks to community support.
