I have been coming to Frescos for many many years, with family and friends. The staff is very friendly and I look forward to the same quality of food and service every visit. I love the Asiago Quesadilla...it is a meal by itself. The crab dumplings are very good, and if it was real crab, they would be at least twice the price, so I am not quite sure why there are people complaining. This is a simple appetizer, not a gourmet seafood dish. The mushroom ravioli is fantastic, and be sure to leave room for dessert!! Enjoyable experience every time!!

Enjoyed the food and service here. My only complaint with east sides is that there is so much food, which for many is not a complaint! The endless bread and salad really is a bit much and I can see it being a very wasteful process. I ordered a very basic dinner of spaghetti and meatballs but took the majority of it home as I was already full.

Hi, I have just discovered this hidden gem in barrie and I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without trying the pasta here.
I’ve had a few lasagnas and a lot of spinach and ricotta Ravioli and I can definitely say it was hands down the best pasta I have ever had! The owner Del was absolutely awesome and super helpful at helping choose the perfect meal. Wish I had found this pasta shop sooner, quality food is hard to come by.

Paul Shipman's tavern was an important stagecoach transfer point as well as the hub of the community's social life. 'The Twelve' was another name used, referring to the Twelve Mile Creek. However, the name St. Catharines, in one form or another, had preceded all other names. Although its origin is not clear, it is thought to be named after Catharine Askin Robertson Hamilton, wife of the Hon. Robert Hamilton, a prominent businessman.
