Is your heart broken? Is your grief overwhelming you? Through the Healing For Grieving Hearts program I help you overcome the pain of overwhelming grief by guiding you through a process that will help you find a new sense of purpose while deeply honouring the love you shared. The grieving process is unique to everyone. There are no five stages of grief. The program includes mindful action steps, therapeutic art interventions and can be attended in person or by Skype. I will guide you through your grieving process with compassion and honesty. As a trained art therapist I use therapeutic art interventions to help you find answers to your questions and to strengthen inner resources. Art therapy helps you when you have no words for what you are feeling. The process of using art as a tool will support your healing process and bring new clarity.
Saint Mary's traces its earliest beginnings to 1802 when the Reverend Edmund Burke, later Bishop Burke, taught young men at the Glebe House, on the corner of Spring Garden Road and Barrington Street. The boys' school grew first into a college and then into a university, never wavering in its commitment to education and community service.
We provide the University with a fine arts component that would otherwise be absent: a location where aesthetic appreciation and criticism may develop and where related cultural issues may be examined. Professional Gallery staff conduct an ongoing program of research display and interpretation of artworks and publication of scholarly catalogues, exhibition brochures and educational materials.
