My husband and i had the pleasure of dining in Thai One On. We were served by a wonderful young lady by Archana. She was so pleasant and very helpful regarding the menu. The food was outstanding. My friend and I fell upon this restaurant quite by accident. We were getting gas at the nearby gas station and decided to check out the restaurants in the little plaza beside it. Boy did we luck out!We went into this little unassuming restaurant and didn't know what to expect. The decor is somewhat drab and the bathrooms were terrible. This made me a little skeptical about the whole place but we were pleasantly surprised. So many menu choices to choose from with many dishes I have never even hear of. Everything was amazing!!! I loved watching the older couple cooking in the kitchen. They had a huge wok over a large controlled fire. It was so awesome to watch. I can't wait to go back. I wish I didn't live 6 hours away,

I come here in this buffet restaurant so many times with friends because we just love the food selection and their great taste. To me, this was one of the best Chinese buffet restaurant in Ottawa with a fair meal price. It’s just sad to see this place close its doors permanently. I wish they could have remained in business even in hard times considering that there were also customers who came to love their service and great food just as much as I do.

I LOVE AMA SO MUCH! This is the best place to have sushi! I am so glad it is only 3 mins away from where I live! I have been going here since it opened and was run down. They have definitely made a lot of changes since then but the food has stayed amazing! I would recommended going to ama over any sushi place!

This Mandarin is still pretty new and clean inside so that is definately a big plus if cleaniness is important to you. The food selection is pretty good and some dishes are actually pretty good. The roast beef is good as well as their crab legs and fired shrimp. Kids really like going here. If you like buffets, give this location a try.

I have never been disappointed by this place. It might not be an architectural wonder with spa atmosphere, but I don't care!
The salad rolls use thai basil which gives them a beautiful sophisticated flavor. The soup broth is very well balanced with garlic, ginger, anise and lemon grass.
