ASTT Act of BCConsumer Protection BCOver the past 20 years I have inspected 1,000's of homes. I don't believe it's possible to provide a competent home inspection, explanation, and report in a few short hours. Conversely, a home inspector shouldn't be onsite all day. The home inspection report with pictures, will be provided within 24 hours.Consulting as early as possible in the home buying process and preferably before an offer is made, can save my Clients both time and money.I started out as a carpenter (1986) after having helped my Dad renovate and build projects all while growing up. Family and friends soon began to ask me to take a look at the house before they bought. All my experience with education had always been from recognized educational institutes ie. college, university, trade schools. When it came to home inspection I was surprised there was very little opportunity for legitimate training available. Home inspection associations were also not formally connected to government agencies.I thought the best practice would be to associate myself with a government act like every other professional involved in real estate transaction ie.

Jonker Auto Group is comprised of Jonker Nissan and Jonker Honda. Jonker Honda: In 1969, Canadian Honda Motors Ltd. (now Honda Canada Inc.) was established. The Honda vehicles were all built in Japan, and shipped to Vancouver as the port of entry. By October of 1974 the first Hondas were sold in Langley along with other imports such as Volvo, British Leyland, and Jaguar. The dealership was known as Langley Automotive, and a temporary structure on the site carried the first Langley Honda sign. Langley Automotive / Langley Honda was located on Highway 10 next to the present McDonald's franchise at the corner of Fraser Highway and the Langley Bypass. Ken Huber, the owner, also owned the McDonald's franchise, but he eventually sold it along with his other import lines as the sales of Honda cars increased. Within two years Langley Honda was a stand alone franchise in the old Langley Automotive building. Over the years, Honda sales increased, and in1990 a new dealership was built at 19515 Langley Bypass, in the middle of Langley's Auto Mile. It featured a 6 car showroom, and a service shop with 9 service bays. In 1996 Langley Honda was purchased by Karel and Karen Jonker. A new building was constructed next to the Honda building to accommodate their Langley Nissan franchise. In 1998 the names of the two dealerships were changed to Jonker Nissan and Jonker Honda. The change was brought about to identify their mutual ownership, and also because the buildings are located in the municipality of Surrey, not Langley. Our business continues to grow. A major renovation was completed in the fall of 2006. Jonker Honda has doubled in size from 15,000 to 30,000 sq. ft. Our service department features 20 service bays as well as drive through service lanes for quick oil changes. New office space, display area, and signage will complete the renovation of Jonker Honda so we can better serve our growing customer base in the community. Jonker Nissan: The vehicles we now know as Nissans were first exported to Canada in 1966 as Datsuns . These vehicles were built in Japan, and Vancouver was the port of entry and also the national headquarters for the Canadian arm of Nissan Motor Company, who built Datsuns.
I have known this dealership since 2013. Their customer service is impeccable and you will always feel comfortable and at ease. At 64, I have visited a LOT of showrooms and Jonker Honda is exceptional. GM Erik will make you feel like family because you can tell this IS an old style family style business. Straight talk, no scheming in the back office, or misrepresentations. I will only buy a Honda here because I know when I leave I won't be scratching my head wondering if I got jacked. Jason and Darryl Trentini
Overview
Dales Alignment was founded in 1975 by Dale Trentini and was located in Prince George, BC. In 1987 the company was sold and the Trentini family relocated to Langley, BC. After getting re-established Dale re-opened in the fall of 1989 under the same name Dale's Alignment and Brake. This is the year Jason joined his father and started apprenticing to become a auto technician. After 5 years we had the opportunity to purchase a new shop location which was down the street from where we started. Dale's second son Darryl joined the family business in 1996 after graduating from college with a business diploma. After many years of hard work, Dale retired in 2003 and his sons Darryl/Jason have taken over the day to day operations of Dales Auto Service(Dales Alignment and Brake).
