WOW!!!! My party and I were impressed.
I have had the pleasure of a couple of Friday night specials and I will be back. The polenta & duck with spaghetti alla chitarra, rapini, mixed rucula salad, focaccia and desert were a dining experience on par with some of Italy's finest restaurants I've had the pleasure to enjoy. This place is incredible! We happened to come across it as we were driving down Dundas Street West in Mississauga. When we walked in, we noticed that not only is it a cafe, it is also a bakery. We were greeted immediately by a kind young woman by the name of Adriana. She asked us if this was our first time at Artisano and we said yes. She then said that we can help ourselves to a free loaf of bread since it was our first time, such a kind offer! We then ordered and received our food within ten minutes, great service! The food was great, it tasted fresh and moist. I am Italian and I know how lasagna should taste, and their lasagna definitely comes very close to the real thing. They also offer free Wi-Fi and entertainment on the patio in the summer. I would definitely come back here for lunch, dinner, or even a coffee!
