Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) is a non-profit agency providing services that assist in the settlement and integration of immigrants and refugees. At CCS we serve all newcomers, refugees, and immigrants, regardless of race, colour, age, creed, religion or political affiliation.
The Altar Servers assist those gathered to celebrate Eucharist by taking responsibility for tasks that enable a reverent and orderly unfolding of the liturgy. Their presence is meant to add to the sacredness of the Mass and help the congregation enter into the most profound prayer of the Church.
Cranes, excavating machines, an army of construction workers, all invaded the village and gave rise to new housing developments. First to the northwest of Keele Street, then to the southeast and to the southwest of the village, the construction activities took on an incessant rhythm, even now as we write, housing and building developments continue in many areas.
