Carefirst Seniors & Community Services Association is a non-profit charitable community services agency established since 1976. Our spectrum of services has grown from the delivery of Chinese meals-on-wheels service to a full range of community support services, covering the whole Greater Toronto Area, and the York Region.
Much like the rich fabric that is Canadian culture, our Polycultural family proactively reflects the diversity of the communities which we serve, proudly made up of various cultural, ethnic and racial backgrounds. We work together to bring immigrants our expertise in successful integration and settlement through the many channels of services we provide across our six Polycultural Immigrant Community Services locations.

Originally founded as West Hill Community Services in 1977, Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities (SCHC) is one of the most established and comprehensive community health organizations in the province. We provide medical assistance through our clinics, are involved in a growing youth program and have a multitude of social support programs including a food bank.
It is a great place to learn the fundamental principal of Buddhism, vegetarian food cooking skills, and steps to help us reach a peaceful mind.
People there are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They make me feel this buddist temple is my home. I decided to go back after the first time I went, feeling that is the place I belong to.
I have improved my physical and mental health a lot by practicing the buddism in a daily life. I strongly encourage you to experience and feel it.
