Willow Bunch, established in 1870, is one of Saskatchewan's oldest settlements. The town is located on highway 36 south of the Trans Canada highway, forty minutes from the Canada-U.S. boundary near the Big Muddy Badlands in Southern Saskatchewan.
So much to do!Located 10 km north of the CanadaUS border in south central Saskatchewan, Coronach is a warm and welcoming prairie community that serves as the starting point for the Outlaw Trail between Canada and Mexico and as a gateway to Saskatchewan's own Big Muddy Badlands. The nearby Buffalo Jump waits to reveal its secrets to the survival of Canada's Indigenous peoples.Currently, the landscape is rich with agriculture and ranching. Nestled in the area is a local coal mine that boasts one of the largest draglines in the North America. This mine serves the local coal fired generating plant, Poplar River Power Station, which currently produces approximately 1/3 of the electricity the entire Province of Saskatchewan. There are many amazing things to see, take in a tour of the badlands or the mine/plant, play a round of golf, take in a local festival and come meet the local people who have an appreciation of small town, rural living.Coronach Tourism Committee 2673312Make a point of stopping at the Coronach Tourism Information Booth.
At Trochu Motors, we are committed to meeting the needs of our customers. This commitment is proven by our extended hours in the busy season, our extensive parts inventory, and by our employee's dedication. This commitment dates back to when John and Aaron Stankievech bought the existing Cockshutt and Ford franchise in 1947. The family tradition and values carried over when John's son, Jack began managing the company in 1977. At this time, Jack focused on the Ag Industry, as the dealership became exclusively a Cockshutt dealership. In 1985, Trochu Motors acquired the Massey Ferguson franchise. A lot of changes have been made to farm equipment and the ag industry since 1947, but our dedication to customer service and support has not. Jack and his partner, Rich Meding, continue to operate their dealership with a single minded focus, and that is to put the customer first.
