Art and Soul Dance Company was founded by sisters, Stephanie and Andrea Viola. Their passion for dance started at the age of three. Decades of experience has given them formal dance training in Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Modern, Latin and Lyrical. Along with their student's countless achievements, they have accumulated many awards for their innovative choreography, for both solo performances as well as group performances.
The Dance Institute (TDI) has proudly provided a school for dancing that maintains a friendly, family atmosphere while still being passionate about the quality of instruction in our dance classes and the overall dance experience for our patrons. However, a teacher of dance for over 30 years, TDI's Director, Sharon Mehaffey, is determined to have her dance school influence the potentially more powerful personal growth attributes.
A.B. Dance offers programs in recreational, competitive & part time competitive classes to boys & girls 2+. All dancers perform in the annual spectacular recital at the Markham Theatre. A.B. Dance has an outstanding faculty for both recreational & competitive dancers. Exciting news!!! We are excited to be moving to the NEW A.B. Dance location across the street at 162 Bullock Dr. next season. This new state of the art facility which will ensure small class sizes and equal attention to all recreational and competitive students, is currently being built and will be enjoyed by both the parents & dancers.
Elite Danceworx is proud to host a wide variety of programs for both recreational dancers and aspiring professionals. Having earned a reputation as one of the top training schools for competitive dancers, Elite has never abandoned the interests of the thousands of dancers who dance for a recreational activity. KICKS Dance Studio is celebrating 30 years in Markham! Studio Owners and Directors, Jo-Ann Bryson-Ko and Courtney Drake are the mother daughter team behind the studio's success! KICKS is honoured to have won the Top Choice Award for the Best Dance School in Markham 2012! They pride themselves in offering high quality dance classes to children ages 2 and up in a friendly, welcoming environment. Students from KICKS participate in many fundraising charity events. The competitive dance team wins numerous awards including the Gold Medal for Canada at the World Championships in Germany! The annual recital is held at the Markham Theatre.
