Established since 1998 We are proud to be celebrating 19 years of dance education in the City of Vaughan and the recipients of Vaughan Today's Best Dance Academy and Best Business in Vaughan. We offer classes at Recreational and Competitive Levels. Dance classes are offered in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. All students participate in our Year End Show held at the Living Arts Centre. We also offer Summer Camps, Intensives, P.A. Day Camps, March Break Camps, Birthday Parties and Private Lessons.

Swing and Sway, organizes events and is a dance school for Ballroom, Latin, Salsa and other styles. We offer weekly dance parties, group and private lessons, event rentals and DJ services.
Our Dance Parties
Our passion is dance and we do everything we can to make our dancers happy. Everyone who steps into our parties or group lessons will have an ultimate dance experience with the best floor, music, sound, light, and group lessons. We have one of the most upscale venues in the GTA. Our dance floor and sitting area create an atmosphere, which is perfect for dancing, socializing or just relaxing. We run dance parties every Friday and Saturday, which include a complementary dance lessons, free snacks and hot drinks, free parking and more. Our themed parties are unforgettable events. The Dance Institute (TDI) has proudly provided a school for dancing that maintains a friendly, family atmosphere while still being passionate about the quality of instruction in our dance classes and the overall dance experience for our patrons. However, a teacher of dance for over 30 years, TDI's Director, Sharon Mehaffey, is determined to have her dance school influence the potentially more powerful personal growth attributes.
