In 1996, Scoil Rince O'Ceallaigh and Scoil Rince Ni Fhearraigh joined forces to introduce The Irish Dance Studio to the York Region area. The directors, Yvonne Kelly and Joanne Vanderloo, have been involved in Irish dance since their early years of competing and then teaching in their own studios. Combined, they have been teaching Irish dancing for more than 50 years and have produced champions in Canada and the Mid-West United States, as well as North American, All Ireland and World Champion Medal Holders.
Located in the Scarborough area, the Ziba Dance Group specializes in dance entertainment for a variety of events, such as weddings. Our highly trained professional dancers perform different styles, such as Afghan and Iranian dances, Cuban dance, Western and Jazz dances and so much more. Call us to find out more!
Twinkletoes Studio of Dance and Performing Arts is the premier dance school in Durham and Northumberland Regions. We have two schools located in Ajax and Cobourg Ontario. The high points of our school are small class sizes, certified dance instructors, adult teachers, free DVD of our year end show and costumes for recreational students are included. Certification of our teachers include Dance Masters of America, British Association of Teachers of Dance, Canadian Dance Teachers Association, and Royal Academy of Dance. Twinkletoes Studio of Dance and Performing Arts students like to jazz it up in a number of different classes: jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, boys hip hop, acro, musical theatre, stretch & strength, pointe, pre-ballet, pre-acro and wiggles & giggles.
