Annual ReportOur StoryThe Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre Inc. was established in 1984 to reclaim Aboriginal peoplés inherent role and responsibility as the caregivers for Aboriginal children and families in Winnipeg.We are a community mandated, Aboriginal directed and supported human service organization, delivering children in care and community based programs and services to Aboriginal families.Today, with over fifty (50) programs, eleven (11) sites, and 200+ staff and volunteers, Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre provides a valued local presence in key neighbourhoods where our community lives.All Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre programs and services are developed and operate within a philosophy that is embodied in the name of the center. The name Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata translates from Ojibway into the phrase 'we all work together to help one another'. These words reflect the vision in the concept of collective responsibility and reciprocity towards helping each other.Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre has invested in a neighbourhood based practice model aimed at identifying innovative policy and practice initiatives to create and sustain family supported neighbourhoods

ICTAM is an industry-focused association representing Manitoba's ICT sector. Our goal is to accelerate the growth, prosperity and sustainability of the industry through relevant programming, advocacy and collaboration. As a not-for-profit, membership based association; ICTAM's constituency is broad-based encompassing vendors, consumers, government, education, chambers of commerce and sector councils. We specialize in creating accessible, entertaining productions in non-traditional settings, with a proud history of presenting both new plays, and old plays in new ways. We invest in the works of Shakespeare because, as the world's greatest dramatist, his plays provide the greatest opportunities for theatre artists and audiences alike. Our track record for engaging local artists for each and every production speaks to our belief in the world-class quality of Manitoba's theatre artists, and our commitment to their continued development. Our dedication to an 'ensemble' approach (in every aspect of our organization), in addition to our initiatives in youth and community education, developing new work, and professional development, all contribute toward making Shakespeare in the Ruins a unique and valuable Canadian arts organization

The Life Science Association of Manitoba (LSAM) is the voice and organizational nucleus for the life science industry of Manitoba.This innovative industry, which now accounts for nearly 7% of Manitoba's GDP, is extremely diverse and wide-reaching.The life science industry's core businesses can be grouped in three distinct categories: Agriculture and Food, Health, Industrial BioProducts, LSAM focuses on attentive, proactive and timely services and programs to over 90 member organizations. We constantly strive to understand which products, services and support our members value most, and create partnerships and programs to deliver them.

OFI is a charitable not-for-profit, community-based social service organization.OFI is.dedicated to the development and delivery of community-based programs fordevelopmentally disabled adolescents and adults who are in conflict,or at risk of being in conflict, with the criminal justice system. The clinically supervised programs enable participants to exercise their rights to equaland appropriate membership in society in the least restrictive setting as possiblewhile maintaining personal and community safety. OFI relies on a variety of residential placement and training options based onan individual's unique needs in risk management and skill level. Services are provided in aclient-driven model; as participants move through treatment and training programming,the model is adapted to reflect participants' acquisition and risk levels.

Harrow Co-op Children's Centre Inc was incorporated in 1984. The centre began operating as a School Age Program in one room. Throughout the years, the centre continued to expand to include kindergarten, nursery and preschool children. Presently, we are fully licensed for 46 children.Harrow Co-op Children's Centre Inc. provides a loving environment for the development of each child's cognitive, emotional, physical and social skills. We provide an environment where children can work independently. The rooms have beauty, order, reality, simplicity and accessibility. The children have the freedom to work and move around the room which allows them to act as part of a social group.Our staff are exceptional! Each staff member brings with her a special interest in children and helps assist each child develop their unique potential, both as a person and as a member of our community. The diversity of our staff's background gives the children a wider cultural awareness.All childcare staff are classified by the Manitoba Child Day Care Office
