Anglican services were being held in homes as early as 1887. Holy Trinity Anglican Church was given land in 1905 for the purpose of building an Anglican church. Anglican order of services began in 1909 and was held in the New England School building located at SW 11-47A-24-W2 until 1919 when the school building was moved to SE 14-47A-24-W2.

In 1876, Governor Alexander Morris, appointed by federal Order-in-Council, was empowered as a Treaty Commissioner to negotiate a treaty with First Nations living within the limits of what would become Treaty Six. He, alone, had the authority to negotiate a lawful treaty; and he did with the Plains and Wood Cree Indians and other tribes of Indians between August 23-29 and on September 9, 1876. The Treaty provided the following terms, conditions and benefits.

Welcome! We are a non-profit boarding and riding facility that has been in operation for over 40 years. We are a facility that provides an unique space where young and old alike can come out and enjoy activities together, where everyone from recreational to competitive riders can grow and learn from each other. We have a large multiple 4-H club as well as a lesson and summer camp program. There is a Team Penning club that hosts weekly pennings as well as a couple sanctioned pennings throughout the year.

Camp Kadesh occupies 47 rolling acres on Christopher Lake about 48 km northwest of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Camp Kadesh is a ministry of Mid-Prairie Scripture Mission (MPSM), an inter-denominational, church-based, non-profit organization.
