Rachel was born and raised in Ontario’s Niagara Region and moved to British Columbia in 1994. She obtained a BA in Psychology and Criminology in 2000 from Simon Fraser University and her Law Degree in 2004 from the University of Windsor. Rachel joined the Firm as an articling student in 2004 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2005.

Summit Medical Clinic has been a part of Kamloops since the early 1990s. Two young doctors moved from Logan Lake and set up a walk-in clinic at a strip mall on Summit Drive. The Clinic was open until 9:00pm and Walk-in clinics were on their way into Medical culture. Neither of the first two doctors practice at Summit Clinic today. In 1999 Summit Clinic moved down the hill to a new mall at 1380 Summit Drive where we have been for the past fifteen years. The Clinic is appreciated by the patients who are without a family doctor. In Kamloops, that is a large number. There are many patients whose Family Doctor is within the Clinic. Unfortunately none of the Doctors can take on new patients. Summit Clinic accommodates as many patients as it can. Summit Clinic fills quickly as patients call or line up to get the walk-in spots available. It’s a new twist on meeting medical needs but the parking is free and the patients learn to deal with the system.
