April 4th, 2010About Bamboo Garden We started growing bamboo in 1980 and joined The American Bamboo Society (ABS) that same year. We helped establish the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the society and have served on the board of directors of both. Ned Jaquith, the late founder of Bamboo Garden, was elected in 2006, as vice president of the ABS and has been awarded Honorary Lifetime Membership due to over 25 years of whole-hearted efforts and generous bamboo knowledge.
