Nicola LogWorks has been handcrafting log homes and timber frame buildings in the Nicola Valley since 1989. Over the years, we have gained the reputation of a multi-discipline log home producer, and have explored various log home building and timber framing techniques including dovetail chinked system log homes, scribed log homes, post and beam log homes, as well as timber frame homes, both hand cut and using CNC technology. More recently Nicola LogWorks has developed a custom log lathe which can turn logs and timbers up to 58' length and 42' diameter. Our scope of work includes architectural and structural log and timber components (parts and pieces), log and timber stairs, curved glue laminations, and cutting, fitting and joinery of logs, timbers, glue- laminations and Cross Laminated Timbers (CLT).
