In 1991/92 it amalgamated with the Manitoba Electrical Association (MEA) to form the Manitoba Electrical league Inc. In June 2014 the name was changed to Electrical Association of Manitoba with a tag line ''Strength in Connection''. Centrally located in Winnipeg's downtown, the EUTC assists more that 1700 individuals and families in the areas of housing, addictions, referrals, counseling, advocacy and other enhanced services. The influx of clients and the broad array of transitional issues indicate the growing demand and need for culturally relevant services by and for First Nation citizens.The EUTC serves as a hub of information and central location for clients seeking transitional support while living in and/or relocating to Winnipeg. The EUTC maintains an up-to-date inventory of resources, programs and services available to assist First Nation clients with day-to-day issues including housing, social assistance, addictions, resources for youth and services/programs in the areas of training/employment and education.
