Not only does your food come fast, but it's been marinating for quite some time. This is how Indian food ( and Pakistani) is actually cooked. If you go to an Indian restaurant and you're waiting for an hour and a half for your dish thinking it's going to be fresh and that's how it's made, you're wrong. Indian food takes HOURS to make. The sauces and spices need time to sink into the meat, and they do exactly that at Tika house.
The service is great, they're always on top of your water and they don't expect you to tip!
People might complain about the atmosphere but the reason why they made the place like that is because in India and Pakistan the best tasting places are done up like Tika house so you can focus on the food instead of the decor. The washrooms are very nice though!
Best Indian place in the city. Don't bother going anywhere else.

Hands down the BEST Indian joint I have tried... butter chicken was jam packed full of flaviour and had the perfect amount of spice and spices (not Americanized at all). The naan bread is hand made fresh to order and very tasty! If you love Indian or are wanting to give it a try i definitely recmend this place.

Loved this place, the staff was very friendly, I liked the decor too. I've been to a wide range of Indian restaurants across the city and would rate the food at Sher E, among the highest. Very cool location in Greektown.

My boyfriend had planned a surprise birthday party at Kamasutra. I showed up at the restaurant thinking I was in for a quiet dinner with him, but he had my friends & family waiting at the restaurant without my knowing. Service & the food was fantastic. This was my first visit & my boyfriend's second visit. He had a business dinner at Kamasutra with some associates and loved it. Now we will be visiting Kamasutra frequently.
