In 1996 I traded in my Hugo Boss and Armani suits for farm clothes, work boots and a backpack. My insatiable thirst to master the art of winemaking led me on a six year journey apprenticing for the very best producers/winemakers of cool climate varieties in Burgundy, South Africa, Oregon, New Zealand and California. In 2003 I put roots down in Prince Edward County by planting 12,000 Pinot Noir vines and in 2004 planted an additional 3,000 Chardonnay and 2,000 Pinot Gris vines

Dog Boarding in a happy, safe and secure environment. Each dog gets individual off-leash exercise 3 times daily in our 7000 sq. ft secure indoor exercise arena. Each dog has a large, clean comfortable housing unit with padded floor for comfort. Kennels are spacious enough for even the largest breeds. Smaller breeds have a separate room, away from the larger dogs. We are centrally located just north of Bloomfield. Winstead Dog Training uses common sense training techniques. Ken Campbell is former police service dog handler and trainer, and a Court Recognized Expert on dog training, behaviour & handling. We do not use treats, clickers or gimmicks. We do not use choke collars. We speak dog. We offer group classes in Basic Obedience to Advanced Obedience. Our Winstead Whatever class includes Agility, Tracking, Scentwork and Obedience. Ken is a CKC Canine Good Neighbour Evaluator. Private Individual Lessons for problem correction and behaviour modification are available.

This is a great campground for families with kids and also for ATV enthusiasts and cyclists - a spectacular recreational trail follows an old railroad line from Lake Ontario north almost to Algonquin Park. The multi-use pathway runs through thick forests and past rivers and lakes, much of it wilderness. Our campground lies right alongside the trail. The entire region shows nature at its best, from spring blooms to fall colors. Enjoy sparkling waters and the natural untouched beauty of the many lakes and rivers in the area. We are a scenic 12 hole golf course designed to attract seniors, family, couples and those who prefer walking while playing a leisurely game of golf. We are unique in that our challenging layout of 12 holes with a Par of 47 requires players to concentrate on their short game. Great for seniors who choose not to play the longer courses and nine holes is not enough. Tee time should be booked ahead to avoid long waiting for tournaments or league play.
