The grassroots organization of social rights (OPDS) is an advocacy organization for the rights of people on welfare. Its mission is to help improve our lives by understanding the causes of our impoverishment and action thereon.To accomplish its mission, the OPDS offers a reception area, listening,discussion and debate that stimulates and mobilizes to defend our rights.
We have owned and operated the CAP House (transition home for people with mental health challenges) for over 2 decades and have overseen the operations of Logis PAL (6 social housing units) for 15 years. Furthermore, Project PAL owns and operates 4 supervised apartments. Thousands of people have benefited from Project PAL's initiatives and interventions in the area of housing.

At Fringues, you will find clothes for all occasions, at low price! New or used clothes, choes ans accessories all come from individual or buisness donations. The life of the shop is punctuated by many special sales, organized on Thursdays and Fridays.

Fringues is also a work platter for women in the Fringues & Cie professional integration program, offered by the YWCA Montreal. The store offers to women with difficulties in integrating the workforce a paid work experience and a complete training for sale and customer service. All profits generated by sales at the boutique are reinvested in the program.
Toujours ensemble is a nonprofit organization that provides academic financial and social support to youth in the underprivileged community of Verdun in Montréal. The organization's mission is to offer young people opportunities in education and recreational activities that will help them learn how to succeed.
