Valemount, British Columbia History and Historic Railway StationAbout Us Valemount Museum, located in the Valemount Historic Railway Station, British Columbia has something for every member of the family.The museum has three levels in the main building with displays on rail camps and towns, a model railway, Japanese Internment Camp display, Valemount Pioneers and war hero's, Margaret McKirdy sculptures, James Vanslyk Art, a Pioneer Kitchen, Early Settlers stories and items, Outfitting and Trapper's Cabin display. It was created with the mission to collect, preserve and portray the cultural heritage of Brooks and District through natural history specimens, artifacts, documents, maps and information which is signficant to the history of this area.
