This store opened recently as part of the revitalization of the area south of the Cambie Bridge. This is an interesting concept for the store that brought us the sprawling big box stores of the 'burbs that we have come to know and love. This store is on 1.5 levels on a smaller footprint and offers almost anything you can imagine for the do-it-yourself-er in an urban setting. In fact its the "almost" in the previous statement that costs this store a 5. It is true that they offer almost anything but if you want to do any larger projects involving copious amounts of lumber, landscaping stone, plants, soils and other landscaping materials you will still need to visit one of the big stores. All that aside, if you are looking for anything else this is a great store to hit, particularly given their location. My child and I particularly enjoy the monthly (every second Saturday) children's workshops where the kids get to build a fun, wood-based project. Afterward there are a myriad of options to pursue such as a walk at the sea-wall around False Creek or a hot chocolate at Starbucks. Check it out next time you're in the area and you will leave impressed!Read more
I loved the staff; they care, and were polite, professional, and kind! They saw to every detail, and comfort. The salon was immaculate! So clean!
The massage chair was to die for! The nail artwork
deserves a gallery of its own! So creative! I plan to go back... regularly! They appreciate their customers, and know how to treat them! Yeay!! I was grateful for the good service, and they genuinely seemed to be too! What a treat!Read more
I went in to get my nails done. I got the two tone acrylic and want them super pointy but it was my first time having them shaped that way. Philip agreed that it would look really nice and insisted that the pointy talons are now in style. It took Philip an hour and a half but my god! The man is a genius! He's so meticulous and made sure all my nails were perfect! I love love LOVED my nails! If I lived closer to Sassy, I would be more religious with getting my nails filled every 3 weeks. Philip is the best! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants perfect nails!Read more
