Wesway was incorporated in 1973 by a small group of volunteers from the Wesley and Wayside United churches. Although Wesway is no longer formally affiliated with the original church groups, our name still honours the tremendous contributions of our early volunteers.Wesway's respite services are available in northwestern Ontario, along the corridors of Highway's 11 and 17 from the Manitoba border to Manitouwadge. The services Wesway can offer to families varies depending on the location. Wesway's goal is to provide quality respite care to families throughout the communities we serve.

CIWA would like to assist these local groups to form one organization to represent injured workers, lobby governments and undertake activities on behalf of all injured workers in their province or territory.Strength in Unity is the only way the voices of injured workers will be heard by government officials
