Open Door is a non-denominational Christian church uniting people from diverse spiritual and cultural backgrounds into a loving, growing church family. Everyone is welcome! Open Door began with a unique vision only a few years ago, when our founders saw a need in Ridge Meadows for spiritual growth, stronger community and service for those in need. We believe that our church, at God's direction, can be this community impacting beacon in Ridge Meadows. As a non-denominational church plant with a vision for community, we're not your typical neighborhood church. We're dedicated to exploring God's love through genuine relationships as a family. This happens in the church and in the community, and so we also follow God's call and explore God's love by being engaged in our community through actions of God's graciousness and love. As Jesus charged us, they will know who you are by your love! (John 13).
its leaders have cared enough to leave the comfort of their adult worlds and enter the arena of high school and junior high school life. You will find Young Life leaders sitting in the stands at hockey games, walking the streets of inner-city neighbourhoods, driving carloads of kids to the shopping malls or tutoring students in study centres after school.

Living Word Christian Church was planted as a church in the Fall of 2002. LWCC is affiliated with British Columbia Baptist Conference and Baptist General Conference of Canada. We meet on Sundays at Willoughby, the heart of Langley Township. A brief story of Living Word God gave the challenge to four men in July 28, 2002 to plant a church in Langley. Two and a half months later, October 20, 2002, the first public worship was held at Timms Community Center. On January 5, 2003, Brookswood Baptist Church generously opened their door for the young church and the regular Sunday Worship in the afternoon started. LWCC acquired a property at Willoughby in October 2010, where the current morning service is being held. What to expect: People: Living Word Christian Church is a caring congregation of believers worshipping together in Langley. Because we have received the gift of new life in Christ and are recipients of His grace, we want to create a place where people feel loved and accepted, where people are honored, and where their questions and concerns are ministered. Grace: We believe that God the Father offers each person a New Life in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Christian life starts when a person accepts Jesus as their savior. Relevant Worship: We believe worship is our response to the work of Jesus on our behalf. Worship is not a service nor is it music or preaching, rather, it is a lifestyle of gratitude to God and acknowledgement of His rule in one's life. We offer a relaxed and friendly atmosphere (come as you are), a blend of contemporary and traditional music, and interesting and practical messages that connect the reality of God's truth to the right now life of each individual. Mission Statement: To glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ to love and serve God and all people in obedience to His living Word.
