We have come every year in December from Hamilton to Simcoe to see the Christmas lights. We stop at the Barrel Restaurant first, and it is a highlight of our trip: excellent food, excellent atmosphere. There is a very large menu, so I know people can order what they want and sometimes get something different from what they want. Suffice to say that I find the Penne Capri on par with meals served in Italy, and my husband and in-laws refuse to order anything other than the lasagna because they enjoy it so much every time. To the bad reviewers, *hand under the chin*. Great people, great service. Used to go to Naples, then switched to Riviera to get real food. Mom and Pop shops are what keep the small business thing going, not the chain stores who don't give a crap about customers. I will go back again and again and again!!

I had to pick a place fast to take my boss to dinner. This place was awesome. Service was impeccable. Both my boss and his corp guy are Foodies and loved the venison and the pork belly. I had Chicken Parmigiana, it was too juicy and i just love it. Baby green salad was also very good. I am really satisfied with the food and their service nad i recommend them to all.

This restaurant has now been taken over by a new owner and the dining experience is amazing! You must give this restaurant a try! The food is delicious, presentation is beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very romantic.
The owner came by our table to check on us and recommended we try Tuna Tar Tar. It was AMAZING! We don't have any other restaurants here in Windsor with this ambiance and dining experience!
