Everything about this meal was fantastic! The service was polite and fast, and our water glasses were never empty for long. The antijitos were the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot). Everyone I went with was happy with their meal. A couple of people got the whoppie burger and really liked it, and fajitas was the special (which one person got and it looked great). Definitely try this little gem out sometime!Read more

Part way through the week long ENDURrun 160KM stage race this past summer I started battling back spasms along with the distance. The pain was impairing my breathing and freedom of motion. After each stage, and in the one off day, Dr. Colin worked on my back to ensure I was ready for the next race day. i not only completed my fastest ENDURrun but ended it with a personal best marathon time to finish the week. I continued with a few more weeks of treatment, with both Colin and Dr. Erika the naturopath, which put an end to the spasms and let me enjoy the rest of my ultra racing season pain free. Thanks, KW Health Connection!Read more

Fascinating Rhythm,' not to be mistaken with the George Gershwin jazz standard from the twenties, was a funky diet of soul, jazz and reggae flavors provided by dance producer extraordinaire William Orbit. The voice who graced the U.K. top ten dance hit from 1990 was Sharon Musgrave. After touring to support the Orbit's Bass-O-Matic project, Set the Controls for the Heart of the Bass and the hit single 'Fascinating Rhythm,' the England born, Canadian native found another outlet to demonstrate her earthy vocal tones to the jazz world with Julian Joseph. Thanks to a performance of Curtis Mayfield's 'The Other Side of Town' from Joseph's Language of Love disc, Musgrave's collaboration with the pianist led to a tour where they opened for Herbie Hancock and others. Then came her solo debut in 2001 on her Zosar Music imprint – Selah - revealing a riveting mix of jazz sensibility interspersed with spoken word, pop, R&B, blues and folk. No wonder because Musgrave's inspirations run extremely deep from Bob Marley to Billie Holliday to Joni Mitchell
