We are so happy with this daycare. Our children have learned so much since attending here. They come home with wonderful art creations all the time and they are super happy. The teachers are caring and good at what they do. It has been a great experience having my children attend this daycare.

Bonnycastle Childcare Services is located in Surrey, British Columbia and was founded in 1991 by Fenella and Terry De Vaz. It started as a family daycare and eventually grew into a group daycare. Alegria Childcare is based upon the philosophy of respect for the individuality of the child, his/her ability to grow, create, think, experiment and discover. Our teachers are appropriately qualified Infant and Toddler/Early Childhood Educators and they are required to have a current First Aid certificate, a criminal record check, and a physician's declaration of suitability in accordance with the Child Care Licensing Regulation. Staff members are required to participate in ongoing professional development programs by taking workshops and courses to update and acquire new skills. Our program is designed to provide opportunities to learn through play in all areas of development: social, emotional, physical and cognitive, while providing a safe, fun and loving environment for children.

We opened our doors in September 2006 and have had four successful years with many children benefiting from a quality Montessori education. Our teachers are ECE (Early Childhood Education) certified and have been trained in the Montessori philosophy through the AMI (Association Montessori International) program. AMI was started in 1929 by Maria Montessori, the founder of the Montessori philosophy. The training today closely follows the original work of Maria Montessori, started over 100 years ago. At Morgan Creek Montessori, we pride ourselves with our high level of training and dedication to the Montessori philosophy. We look forward to working with many children and their families in the South Surrey area.
