Welcome to Northridge Counselling! I enjoy working with a holistic approach to therapy and I believe that as human beings, we are not only physical, emotional and social beings, but also spiritual. By attending to all four aspects of your personhood, I will support you in your journey to find meaning and purpose in your life which will assist you in your journey to healing. I have worked with both individuals and couples who experience addictions, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, and problems with transitions in life, especially seniors.
We are an experienced team of psychologists offering a broad range of services. We provide psychotherapy and assessment services to Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples, and Families. We work with people facing a wide variety of psychological difficulties and problems. In addition to the general public, we also work with military personnel and veterans, police officers, fire fighters, and other emergency service workers. Counselling/Therapy for many problems including stress and relationship issues, Psychological, PsychoEducational, and PsychoVocational Assessment, Specialized treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, OCD.
Please note that additional work hours are Wednesdays from 9 to 5 at 791 Concession Road N3H4L1 in Cambridge. Sylvia Bramwell is a trained psychotherapist, registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I am in full-time practice. Coming from the field of Social Work for approximately 12 year, I have the experience of providing services to individuals, couples and families. I use a range of counselling approaches, such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Pastoral Counselling to treat clients and pointing them to road of recovery.
