My fiancée and I enjoyed all five dishes that we tried. The salads and the seafood dishes were all loaded with flavor. What was supposed to be cold was cold and fresh, what was meant to be hot was cooked to accuracy and hot. The presentation of each dish was impressive. Lovely ambiance, service was impeccable. We told the host that this was a special night for us and were treated in such a lovely way. Thank-you for beginning a lovely evening for us.

At festivals around Edmonton you may have recently seen the Blue Willow Chinese food venue! Its amazing, the onion cakes are to die for, and whether you are dining in or taking out it is the perfect atmosphere for that dinner for two, or for a meal with friends. Traditional food, and by far, the best Chinese in Edmonton.

AMAZING STEAK AND OYSTERS:)
We arrived at 530pm, no reservations, and were led to our table with no wait and met our waitress Amanda. We ten proceeded to get a bottle of red carbonate wine, amazing:) After which we were informed of buck a shuck, and proceeded to try a total of 48 oysters ( 12 different types, both Atlantic and Pacific) the were phenomenal. We then followed this up with some escargot. Perfectly cooked. For our main meal we had Caribbean lobster tail and steak ( silver aaa ) medium rare; cooked to perfection, the candles that heated the butter and the ambiance in the restauraunt, felt like we were the only two there. We tried tequila shots with and without oysters, and two different martinis with pink sugar along the rim, like the food , they were awesome:) I wanted to show the girl I was with a good time and it was amazing, when i seen her earlier that night, she took my breath away and to see her smile at Vons, made it all worth while:) It was our first time eating there and we were there to after 10pm, last ones in the restauraunt:) amazing time, something neither one if us will ever forget:) best meal I ever had, and Im glad I got to share the experience with her:) great food, great service, and seeing her happy - amazing:) highly recommend this restauraunt to anyone to any couple, its something you wont forget:)

My family has been going to this restaurant for as long as it has been open...I remember going when I was working for Pe Ben in 1974...it was a long drive "back into town" in those days from 17th street! The food is just as good now as it was then, and the service is fantastic! One place we know we can go eat and we won't get sick!

Food is consistently good although not teaditional italian if thats what you are looking for. Best part is free fresh hot bread plus all entrees include soup or salad, plus ice cream and coffee/tea for dessert! Full meal!
