A favourite restaurant. Friendly, comfortable environment with very good service. We recently enjoyed Tempura as a starter followed by the CHEO Charity Dinner Menu 4 Course Meal. The atmosphere is relaxed with just the right time between serving items that arrive fresh, hot and tasty. The lunch All You Can Eat menu is a particular favourite for those who enjoy a slower meal with small portions of individual items from the menu. We have been many times and will return many times.

I come here once in a while with my family and we are never disappointed. The food is very good - always hot and fresh. I may be bold and say that it is the best in Rockland and if not, one of the best in Ottawa. The owners are very friendly and attentive. They recently renovated their interior not too long ago and we're loving the new modern look! A big upgrade from their old outdated appearance. Definitely worth checking out.

This restaurant serves up the best authentic Chinese/Vietnamese food in Gravenhurst, albeit a little pricey. Very friendly owner, and a REAL Chinese food cook. Always enjoy eating at the China House! ..... hey Dap, what's shakin' buddy?

We ordered the Beef tenderloin crostini, pork belly, baby back ribs, and black cod. The pork belly was the crispest and least fatty that I've ever had, it was spectacular. The flavors on the crostini were very good, the cherry chutney and dijon aioli went very well together. And the ribs... much better than any I've had at a Ribfest. My GF said the black cod was the tastiest fish she had ever had. The ambiance is nice cottage country, the dining room intimate with only four tables. A definite repeat!.
