The Mad-24 Restaurant was named after its executive chef, Mohammad Ombawa Mendoza, who conceptualized the idea. He was born and raised in the Philippines, moved to Barcelona Spain, where he earned his diploma in culinary at Gremi de Restauracio de Barcelona, then immigrated to Canada. His passion for working as a chef in different restaurants in Spain and Canada inspired him to make his dream come true by establishing his restaurant. He creates his own recipes, combining European cooking and influences of Canadian and Asian cuisine.
