Sushi Club is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. Their food is delicious and they have really good service. Even though I don't live in the neighbourhood, I go there because it is the best restaurant. The renovation they had this summer was very good. It affected the restaurant by a lot. It may be expensive, but it is worth it to go and eat in a restaurant like that.

Right on Dundas and Elizabeth, this little gem is sort of hidden downstairs. My Chinese friends refer to it as 'the basement' rather than its name. The bigger the group, the cheaper the meal. Dim Sum is good and very inexpensive ($2.20 - $3.70 per item). If you are going for lunch during the week, get there EARLY as it fills up very quickly. Once you have had lunch there, you will understand why. The Dim Sum is served from carts, so there are times when some of it may not be as hot as it should be, but I have never found that to be a problem since the food is very good. The decor is very basic with plastic table clothes, but the restaurant is quite clean, so that is not a problem. I go there regularly and recommend it.

Excellent. What a wonderfully authentic hole in the wall. Though the servers struggled in communicating, they were warm and efficient. I have had a lot of great Japanese, and this is right up there. This restaurant is all about great value. The lunch combos with the rolls, salad, soup and dumplings or spring rolls is a fantastic deal. The sushi is decent, but the cooked food is horrible. Never buy any of that. The staff are not polite, but they aren't rude either. I don't mind that, and they are fast. This is a good place for some cheap sushi.
