Excellent. What a wonderfully authentic hole in the wall. Though the servers struggled in communicating, they were warm and efficient. I have had a lot of great Japanese, and this is right up there. AWESOME DENTIST!!!!! I was so happy when I Left Dr. Brown’s office after a consult for extensive treatment. Dr. Brown explained everything in detail and his staff were all amazing! This restaurant is all about great value. The lunch combos with the rolls, salad, soup and dumplings or spring rolls is a fantastic deal. The sushi is decent, but the cooked food is horrible. Never buy any of that. The staff are not polite, but they aren't rude either. I don't mind that, and they are fast. This is a good place for some cheap sushi.

We went there for nice dinner during winterlisious 2012.
Overall restaurant is very busy but cozy and romantic. Our server was running around in hurry and as a result during entire evening mixed up who ordered what, since it was only two of us it was ok to switch.
Food Overall was very good: My appetizer was yumm and so is my the other person, soft deep fried calamari was excellent. Chicken skewers were moist and sauce was perfectly spicy.
For the main dish disappointment arrived, all main dishes come with rice and stir fry. Stir fry was the WORST I have ever tried, super hard giant pieces of cabbage+ raw zucchini made it unpleasant both on taste and texture. Main dish of red curry was excellent and rice was perfectly done. Basil beef was amazing (properly the softest piece of beef I have ever tried in my life).
Desserts were good too my mango-chocolate mousse cake was heavenly and banana fritter had amazing crunchy but sweet coating on it .
