Char Priddey has been in the construction industry since 2004. With a start in administration, Char progressed to running production, scheduling, managing crews and overseeing safety on the job for a Calgary roofing company. Soon after, she added the title of Safety Officer to her resume and now uses those skills and NCSO designation to design, improve and maintain safety programs and systems. She started Vivid Safety Consulting Services in 2012 to provide clients with a realistic approach to safety in the workplace. Developing and maintaining a health and safety program can seem like a daunting task and companies often struggle to understand what their responsibilities are.
