The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is an accredited public health agency that offers a wide range of programs and public health services focused on promoting and protecting health, and preventing disease, disability and injury. These programs and services are funded by municipal and provincial tax dollars. The Board of Health governs the affairs of the health unit and oversees agency operations. Shelburne Golf and Country Club is a picturesque 18-hole golf course located on the western edge of the Niagara Escarpment. The professionally-designed course plays over easily walked terrain with silica sand bunkers and six spring -fed ponds providing a challenge to all levels of golfers. In the last few years 9 new tee decks, adding 230 yards to the course, were brought into play adding to the challenge for the lower handicap, long-hitting player. Playing enhancements were completed on four holes in 2007, to speed up play and provide greater visual definition to the bunkers, water hazards and fairways, along with the addition of 400 trees. Also, the automatic irrigation system was expanded to improve the overall condition and playability of the course.

We offer the following courses whether it is for Law Enforcement, Security, Sport shooter, Hunter or Collector. Canadian Firearms Safety Course. Canadian Restricted Firearms Course Hunters Education. A little bit about me - I have been around firearms since the age of 12 and am soon turning 47. So if I have done the math right, that's 35 years. I completed 13 plus years in the Regular component of the Canadian Armed Forces where I completed several Instructor courses from small arms right up to a self propelled 155mm Howitzers. I did two tours, one in Cyprus and in Yugoslavia. In 2000 I left the military and have been with Peel Regional Police since. I am currently a Use of Force Instructor and Service Armourer. I started hunting with my father at age 12 and have been an avid hunter and conservationist since. I bring many years of firearm and hunting related experiences to the table and will try to make your time with me enjoyable, informative and successful.

Muskoka Lakes Garden's and More is located at 1015 District Road 169, 4 kilometers north of the Segwun docks in West Gravenhurst. Owned and operated by Hans and Cathy Van Klink since 1996.
